Web 2.0

The term Web 2.0 describes a change in socio-technical aspects of Internet use. It represents a higher stage of evolution in terms of supply and use of the World Wide Web. The user is not only reading and cosuming the information but proactively producing new content. Therefore Web 2.0 offers challenges and threats. The use of this term actually decreases in favor of the term Social Media.
