Bill Me Later is a proprietary payment service for purchases online and via phone. It works without a credit card, just by entering the birthday and the last four digits of the social security number. The service is based on a customer's creditworthiness and is currently only available for US citizens.
In 2000, Bill Me Later was founded by Gary Marino and is headquartered in Timonium, Maryland. It works together with WebBank, Salt Lake City, Utah. As of November 2008, the formerly I4 Commerce owned company has been acquired by eBay subsidiary Paypal.
